We are particularly proud of our cutting-edge sun sensor, recognized as the smallest and most accurate in the space market, cementing our reputation in the domain of satellite-mounted sensors.
In addition to our acclaimed sun sensor, our diverse portfolio includes other attitude sensors designed and manufactured for satellites. These are based on our extensive experience and a deep understanding of the specific requirements of satellite parts.
One of our groundbreaking products is the Nano Sun Sensor on a Chip (NanoSSOC). This two-axis, low-cost sun sensor is known for its high accuracy in sun-tracking, pointing, and attitude determination. It measures the incident angle of sun rays in two orthogonal axes, offering high sensitivity that reflects the geometric dimensions of the design.
Our Sun Sensor on a Chip (SSoC) is another product worth noting. Crafted using MEMS fabrication processes, the sensor achieves highly integrated sensing structures, making it ideal for high-precision sun-tracking, positioning systems, and attitude determination.
In addition to these, our Advanced Coarse Sun Sensor (ACSS) is a redundant coarse and analog sun sensor meticulously designed and developed for mass production and satellite constellations. Like our other sensors, the ACSS measures the incident angle of sun rays in two orthogonal axes, offering high sensitivity based on the design’s geometric dimensions.
The Horizon Sensor for Nano and Micro Satellites (HSNS) is another standout product in our space equipment line-up. As a Quad Thermopile sensor, it is designed for Earth detection and Nadir vector determination. It measures infrared radiation from Space and Earth using four IR eyes, providing accurate and reliable detection and attitude determination.
Our technology is manufactured to the highest quality standards, capable of withstanding the space environment, and is fully compliant with ESA standards. At SOLAR MEMS, we are committed to maintaining our position as a key supplier of high-quality satellite parts and equipment.
