José Manuel Quero
CEO & Co-founder
José Manuel holds the M. Sc. and Ph. D degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Seville. He is co-founder of Solar MEMS technologies and Full Professor in the Electronic engineering department since 2000. He has been leader in more than 80 research and technology transfer projects and he is evaluator and reviewer for the European Comission since 2002. His interests include MEMS sensors and actuators and its application in microfluids, RF and space.
Juan García Ortega
Quality manager & Co-founder
Juan holds a Ph. D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Seville. He is one of the co-founders of Solar MEMS technologies. He was researcher in the Electronic Engineering Department until 2001, when he became an Assistant Professor. He works with the Microsystems Group of the University of Seville and his research areas include laser micromachining and sun sensors in aerospace and industrial applications.
José Miguel Moreno
José Miguel holds a Ph. D. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Seville. He was researcher in the Electronic Engineering Department, involved in MEMS design and manufacturing, project management, product development and technical research. He has been responsible of the platform and payload design and integration in different space missions as Seosat or Cepheus. He has also been involved in the development of different industrial projects related to space for international customers.
Manuel Rodríguez Halcón
Manuel has a B. SC and M. Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering and Digital Communication from the University of Seville. He has the PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) and a master’s degree in sales and marketing. He has wide experience in the development of software activities and communication systems related to ADCS, managing different space missions with international prime contractors and also coordinating technical activities for European consortium projects.
Tamara Guerrero Cervera
Business Development Manager
She has a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Seville. She was a researcher at the Department of Electronics Engineering of this University until she moved to the New Technologies Laboratory of Abengoa Hidrógeno, where she worked as Process Engineer. At that company, Tamara became the technical manager of the Aerospace business, coordinating different projects related with regenerative fuel cell systems for spacecraft. She has participated in many European and ESA projects with main prime contractors. She enjoys participating in multi-cultural teams and has multi-lingual certified competencies.
Isaac Fernández Rodríguez
Head of Production Division
He received a professional training degree in Consumption Electronic Products and Electronic Products Development. He has worked in different companies with microcomputer equipment, electricity and medical equipment. Isaac has participated in different missions working as head of the production team of Solar MEMS. He has also wide experience with sun sensors and control systems for renewable energy applications, including solar tracking systems and heliostats.
